The second Barolo is a 2004 Azienda Bricco Rocche (Ceretto) Barolo Brunate. Wow, can these wines get any better? Sheesh, Marc, you’ve done it again. Lovely wine, even though it was not rated as high by Wine Enthusiast as the “98” 2010 vintage we just tasted — this vintage was “only” rated 97. Oh my — two great ones in a row.
Color is turning orange at the edges. The nose is earthy – tobacco and leather and some floral aromas. Maybe a little barnyard? I taste cherries and strawberries and some spice. The finish is medium, and it has good balance. This wine is
